Long time - no show!
Isn't it awful NOT to be inspired by anything at all? Isn't it even more awful when you are a creative person and you live by creating? I tell ya, sure it is. It feels like you have nothing left to love or like there is no fuel left in your soul so that you keep your eyes wide open. It has been a long time since i had this little things moving in my stomach making me feel excited!
And here is my remedy. This little documentary about The Sartorialist's man behind the camera - Scott Schuman , a glimpse into his everyday life that made me feel so anxious and touchingly excited about life around me again ( not that i was depressed , but sometimes it feels like something isn't there for you, you know?)
I have dedicated a post to him and Garance already, their interview that i found on youtube, but this is like a short film documentary that's been shot in a charmingly warm way.
I feel like i have THAT THING in me again...i have my fuels back.
ASOS+Selby
Everyone knows The Selby blog, right? And if you don't then check it out here , the idea of Todd Selby was to show houses and flats of different people famous in their creative field. It's not that you're going to have an excursion over George Clooney's house on Como, but you will be able see how some interesting individuals live, their shelters and little things that warm their hearts.
And of course everyone knows what Asos is....if not, check it out here I am sure, that online shopping buyers would more than just love it.
So two of this amazing companies( if i may call TheSelby this way) teamed up for one project- their first ever advertising campaign following the classic idea of photographing individuals in their own personal home, in this case, "Model's Own."
Interested? take a look at Asos website....

GOOP
I've been a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow's website GOOP for a long time now. And it's no surprise cuz the girl knows what she's talking about. Not only she shares her opinion and knowledge on different subjects that all us women care about but also posts a professional opinion of her doctors or friends who are professionals in one field or another.
You may take a look on a different parts of everybody's life from her perspective, get some advice you needed for a long time or just get to know some of her health secrets which i guess might be just the most interesting part of Goop(to me, at least). She blogs about everything, there are EAT,DO,SEE,KNOW and other parts of the website where she weekly keeps sharing her perspective on things.
Interested? welcome to www.goop.com

LLove
Unfortunately, i wasn't there! But thanks to Wallpaper magazine i have an impression that i have. I'm talking about LLove exhibition that was held in Tokyo. It consists of 14 guest rooms, cafe and a shop....seems to be more like a hotel, isn't it? Sure it is cuz the visitors were able to check in to the room they liked the most and spend the nigh there. Had a feeling you didn't want to leave an exhibition?-this could be your lucky opportunity.
Selection of 8 Dutch and Japanese designers presented their vision of "room in in llove" and here are those i liked the most.

It is out
So finally the Lanvin for H&M video is out. I'm very excited about this collaboration, in my opinion it one of most interesting ones in a very long time. Even though i'm not a fan of H&M, i will go check it out and hopefully the quality is going to be better than it usually is!!! if so, BRAVO to H&M for quality improvements, cos it is just impossible to bare it in all the other occasions.
So here is this amazing piece of art work
Also, having an occasion to share smth, here is the list of some thing i would get if i had an unlimited budget.
So here it is....my small list! the minute after i sat down to make my list, i was blocked after this 3 things. Turns out, there is nothing else i would buy. No, of course loooooots of clothes like Balmain, Givenchy, Lanvin, Balenciaga, Reed Krakov, Alexander Wang, Rick Owens and many many more would be more than welcomed into my closet, but thing i NEED are above!
Yes, i am very modest in my desires!!!

Hermes Birkin Bag - tan tone
Rolex - Datejust Collection with pink gold and diamonds( in case if someone wants to buy me ones, i will be extremely happy with same ones but without diamonds) So here it is....my small list! the minute after i sat down to make my list, i was blocked after this 3 things. Question
The question of the last month for me was: am i one of those people who can move to another country without any money and job and start over or am i the one who is too scared of uncomfortable situations and i better stay in my comfort zone aka parent's house/Moscow?
AAAAND big news! I LEFT MILAN! MOVED OUT. MOVED ON.

Lanvin
As far as summer is already over its half, i decided to refresh in my memory fall/winter 2010-11 shows and see what is waiting for us during upcoming cold wintery days. And as always, between all the shows i completely loved Lanvin the most.
I mean, just look over the last 3 years of Lanvin collections and you will completely understand what i love the most about fashion and women. This man, Alber Elbaz, knows EXACTLY what suites women and what The Woman is actually supposed to be.
Over the last decade a woman turned into a trash bag. Yes, there is something charming about it but isn't the elegant and mysterious cat-like woman better then any Kate Moss-ish/ripped jeans/messy hair type of girl? Ok, yes it is much harder to maintain elegant than trashy....this look needs more money and more effort but it completely worths is.
I am voting for Chic!!!!

Besides, i am completely in love with the runways of Lanvin shows. This huge sort of empty factory open-spaces with the ceiling full of spot lights falling 90 degrees on the model's heads create absolutely amazing mysterious atmosphere. And if usually this king of light is the least complementing to all of us, the designers of the show made just the opposite effect-it couldn't complement the collection and girls more.
New inspiration-Coco Rocha
Today was the day when i was youtubing a numerous amount of models. Everything started from an MTV episode of "It's on with Alexa Chung" where the main guest was Alessandra Ambrosio. While i was watching, i could not stop wandering how more stupid-barbie-blonde personality a person can have. And there i started my research about top models off the runway.
Turned out that i am pretty patriotic because one of my favorite models turned out to be Natalia Vodyanova . Not only is she smart but also a great person that helps children. She got something-she gave something...and that's the way you feel better about yourself and bring happiness to other homes.
But i can not believe that i never paid enough attention to this young lady before. Coco Rocha is one of the most influential models nowadays and yet she has an absolutely beautiful personality. Just the way she behaves on camera and what she says and the kind of confidence she has made me believe that THAT GIRL will have absolutely no problems with her career after her modeling days are over. I believe i saw every video of her and i still can't get enough.
Also, look at this ROCKING website she has http://www.coco-rocha.com/
P.S. Get me right, i love men!!! I just think that being able to admit other women's beauty is a good thing.

After Graduation
So it's been a long time, kids, since the last time i made a post. Thing is, i forgot my password AND username and only today got the patience to make all the steps that google was asking for in order to refresh my blank memory.
Other than that, i have graduated my Uni (Istituto Marangoni) with honors. Yes, now i am an official INTERIOR DESIGNER with a great diploma and God bless me for the further successes in that field.
So i have been busy with exams, graduations, sending my CVs to different companies and hoping for someone to hire me ( the last one is still my day-to-day routine)
How weird is that, anyway, to stop being a STUDENT and suddenly, after all my life of hard studying, to change my status on facebook on UNEMPLOYED... i tell you it's pretty heartbreaking because the entire eraof school/college/university is over . Now it's all about the work work work.
Speaking about ending of an era. That has happened before, though. Remember, when we all finished high school ,we though that that was the end of something very special that we will always would want to come back to. I have always been looking on people who say they want to go back into school times with a certain attitude and that attitude is "WATTA FUCK?" I am one of those people who thinks that the best is in front of us, not behind. That we should look into the future and only remember the past but not willing to turn the time machine on and come back. The progress is going further, we are growing, the society is growing and wanting to go back in time to me is just ridiculous. I heard that modern society is living its middle-thirties.... can you imagine how many great deals we have yet to do? We have an entire era on Wisdom ahead. THAT seams freaking awesome to me because WE are those people of next generation that is going to rule the world. It is up to us how we want to see our future and we can make it the way we want it. So thinking about past, the only thing we can't change, is a complete waste of time.
Yes, i have just graduated. Yes, i am unemployed. Yes, i am freaking scared about what is going to happen to me next but i know, that whatever it is, it is going to be great, it is going to be amazing and full of interesting moments that will be taking all my time and interest, and that those moment are going to be just better and better with each year and with each tear i drop on the way to my wisdom and my private inner happiness.
Also, i must admit that i cannot stop listening to new Kelis album. She has changed completely and she did it really well.
And i have also discovered this amazing London based guy for myself.
in a meanwhile, please enjoy this silver winner of Cannes festival
P.S i have been on The XX concert ... and of course no pictures at all, i am so lazy to take my camera with me lately.
AAAAAAAAAAND......i finally bought tickets for Paolo Nutini and FLorence+the machine concert that i'm gonna see in couple of days! EXCITED!
Till next time, XoXo
